Mapping The Human Story
Lisa Kristine celebrates Elizabeth Lindsey in the Mapping of the Human Story; for this work is intrinsic to preserving ancient cultures.
Mapping the Human Story seeks to make it possible for every story to be entrusted, protected and shared. Their mission is to explore, curate and share humanity’s heritage, wisdom and knowledge in order to sustain present and future generations.
Under the direction of National Geographic Fellow Dr. Elizabeth Kapu’uwailani Lindsey, we’re navigating through fragile culture hot-spots to listen, to learn, and to bridge humanity – from indigenous clans to urban tribes, from forgotten elders to inspired youth.
Mapping the Human Story does its work through purposeful expeditions, research, collaborations, and ethical use of media to disseminate stories and information. In conjunction with this work, the organization is participating in efforts to develop technologies that will hold the Human Story in trust in an ethical and sustainable framework.
